Account Manager/BDM- IT & Telecommunications

2 x Full time Roles: Sydney and Melbourne

Evotec is an Australian IT and Communications company with presence in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

We specialise in providing IT, Telephony, Carriage, and Infrastructure products and services to small and medium-sized businesses throughout Australia.

We offer our clients high-levels of technical expertise and customer service on products and services from Australia's industry- leading brands.

We are seeking two Account Manager/Business Development Managers to join our team who will grow and service our Sydney and Melbourne customer bases.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • The sales of IT, communications and carriage products and services into an existing portfolio of accounts
  • Building a strong relationship with those accounts by providing consistent touch
  • Cross-selling a range of communications, carriage and IT products and services
  • Working with the national sales team to achieve set targets & customer satisfaction
  • Working with management and marketing to develop new business strategies

What you will need:

To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate:

  • Excellent oral communication skills (fluent English)
  • Previous account management/business development experience
  • Ability to prepare professional quotations, tenders and presentations
  • Good presentation and sales skills
  • A current and valid driver's licence and reliable transport
  • Self-motivated and results-driven and be able to work as part of a team
  • An understanding of the IT & Telecommunications industry
  • Previous experience with selling IT equipment
  • Previous experience with selling telephone systems
  • Telecommunications carrier experience with voice/mobile/data services is also desired (Telstra, Optus, Vodaphone, Other)
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
